Marylin's Story,
From Fat to Fit!
My name is Marylin V. Godwin and I have struggled with losing weight and keeping it off all my life. My food addictions and cravings used to rule my life.
I started my first diet when I was eight years old. I did lose a lot of weight and did not gain it back for a few years. Yet, because of this first diet, I became obsessed with food, diets, my weight, and my looks at a very young age. Most of my life, my weight has gone up and down and unfortunately, I always ended up overweight. I was never really able to keep the weight off until over a decade ago.
I Tried Hundred of Diets
I was so unhappy, and I wanted to lose weight and be thin. It was my goal, my dream. So, I tried hundreds of diets. Yet regardless of the one I tried, I always regained the weight, and often even more. Sound familiar? Finally, after many years of struggling, I started thinking: “I always get whatever I want in life as long as I really focus on it. Why can’t I simply lose weight and become thin?” My failure didn’t make any sense to me. I thought: “I’m a go-getter. I can make anything happen. What is wrong?” Then, I began to wonder if perhaps there was a part of me that did not want to be thin. Perhaps consciously, I wanted to lose weight, but deep down, I did not.
My Life-Changing Moment
This was a life-changing moment that opened a new door for me. Realizing and accepting that I did not really want to lose the weight led me through that door and onto a journey where I was to discover the many surprising and often odd reasons why I had been struggling with this weight loss problem for so long.
Over the last twenty years, I have spent hundreds of hours figuring out and compiling the many reasons why it is so difficult for us to lose weight and to keep it off. I also learned powerful techniques to clean up the MESS in our mind and body and reduce food cravings. All my research and my own experience has led me to the creation of my F+B VIP group coaching program and online course!
